- Initial payment
Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt by the owner of the required deposit payment. However, if the booking is made within eight weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full accommodation rental will be required. - Confirmation of booking
Once the owner has issued a Confirmation of Booking the Hirer is responsible for the total published price of the property and extras as shown on the confirmation. Amendments to bookings will be subject to a £25 administration fee. - Party numbers
In no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons, as stated on the website, occupy a Pod. The Owner reserves the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed. In addition, the Owner reserves the right to refuse or revoke any bookings from parties that may in their opinion (and at their discretion) be unsuitable for the property concerned. - Noise
Please keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm and before 8am, in consideration of others.
- Unreasonable behaviour
We have the right to refuse to hand over accommodation and ask you to leave if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to cause offence to other guests or to members of staff. In such cases the contract will be terminated and Park Hall Pods will not have any further liability.
We reserve the right to terminate a holiday after the keys have been handed over, if the unreasonable behaviour of anyone in your party is likely to impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests or members of staff. In these circumstances, no refund will be given.
We also reserve the right to ask any person (s) who is not suitable due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to property, danger or annoyance to others to leave the park. In this event no refund will be due. There is an automatic £50.00 charge if we are called out to a disturbance of your doing where another guest has requested our assistance or where we have felt it necessary to attend a situation.
- Damage to Accommodation
You are liable for any damage caused in the accommodation during the period of hire. We have the right to enter any accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies arise (for example if repairs need to be carried out). You are liable for any damage to the accommodation during the period of hire. Pods not left as found in a clean and ordered state there will be a minimum of £25.00 for additional cleaning and will be taken from the security deposit. Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alterations to the or other parts of the site caused by negligence.
- Linen, Towels and Robes are provided but will be charged for if not left in the pod.
- Pod Descriptions
We have taken care to ensure the accuracy at the time of publication of our website, however information and prices may have changed by the time you book. There may be small differences between the actual pod and facilities and its description, as we are always looking for ways to make improvements. We will use our best endeavours to notify you of any changes to, or inaccuracies in any information contained on our website as soon as reasonably practicable after we become aware of that change or inaccuracy.
- Smoking Policy
Guests are advised that Mapperley Glamping operates a strict no smoking policy within the Pod. Pollution or damage from smoking will result in a charge to ensure the Pod and site is returned to a satisfactory standard.
- Your Vehicles
Your vehicles, their accessories and contents are left entirely at your risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damage from or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever.
- Availability
The Hiring Contract is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that a property is not available through events arising outside the control of the owners, then the owners may be forced to cancel the booking. The Hirer will be advised as early as possible. Where possible, The Hirer will be offered suitable alternative accommodation, which, if not acceptable, will entitle the Hirer to a refund of all monies due. The Hirer will not as a result have any further claims against the owner. Please note that reservation requests taken via our website are not confirmed bookings until we have contacted you and accepted a payment. - Wheelchair Access / Mobility Difficulties
What makes our site unique is each glamping pod is on stilts giving our guests outstanding views. Sadly, it’s not equipped for wheelchair access, or guests with limited mobility, there are several (15) steps up to the glamping pods.
We aim to accommodate guests as much as we can, please check before booking if you have any particular requirements. We are happy to accommodate your needs where feasible possible. To ensure the pod booked is suitable for our guests with a disability, it is essential that all booking requests from parties including people with special needs, give us full and clear details of those needs at the time of booking. We also require confirmation as to whether or not the disabled visitor will be accompanied on their holiday by an individual able to attend to all their requirements.
